Policies
Editorial policy
How our guides, industry pages and platform checklists are written, checked and kept up to date.
What our content is for
Our guides help agencies make better decisions about reselling SEO: pricing, choosing partners, scoping work and reporting honestly. We sell white-label SEO delivery, so we have a commercial interest in these topics; guides that touch our services say so.
Sources and accuracy
- Statements about search engine behaviour and policies are based on the search engines' own documentation, such as Google Search Central, and link to it where it matters.
- We don't publish invented statistics, survey results or case studies. Where a guide uses numbers to explain a method, they're labelled as illustrative.
- Sample reports use fictional businesses on reserved example domains and say so.
- Platform checklists show the date they were last reviewed, because platforms change their settings often.
Dates
The published date is the date a page first went live. The updated date changes only when the content is materially revised, not for cosmetic edits. We don't backdate content.
AI assistance
Drafts may be prepared with the help of AI writing tools. Every page is checked against primary sources and reviewed before publication, and we're responsible for everything we publish.
Authorship
Guides are published by SEOReseller as an organisation. We name an individual author or reviewer only when a real person wrote or reviewed the piece and agreed to be named.
Comparisons and commercial interest
When we compare approaches, such as in-house, freelance or white-label delivery, we describe the trade-offs of each, including where our own model is not the best fit. We don't rank ourselves first on criteria we chose to favour ourselves.
Corrections
If you spot an error, tell us through the contact page. We fix factual errors promptly and update the page's revised date when the change is material.
